Preventive healthcare is here for you, to benefit you. There is no reason to be afraid to seek those things that keep us here longer, keep us healthier and keep us happier. Our mission is to eliminate the hesitation towards seeking the care thats here for us and to begin to prioritize our health.
Preventive healthcare refers to measures and practices that aim to prevent diseases, illnesses, and other health issues before they occur, rather than treating them after they develop. The goal is to maintain health, improve quality of life, and reduce the burden of healthcare costs by addressing potential health risks early. Preventive healthcare includes a wide range of activities, from lifestyle changes to regular screenings and vaccinations.
Preventive healthcare is a wide spectrum of different things. Health screenings and diagnostic tests such as mammograms or blood pressure checks are a means of catching disease early or identifying risks factors. Immunizations and routine check ups could prevent disease and monitor our health. Lifestyle and behavioral choices are also considered preventive healthcare as smoking status, alcohol consumption, physical activity and diet have a significant impact on our health.
