The Preventive Project (TPP) is a mission to change the ways we approach receiving healthcare. Specifically focusing on migrant and refugee communities, we work to break the old, deeply rooted, cultural habits of not seeking healthcare and strive to instill newer, healthier ones.

The Preventive Project strives for the following:
Education
Transitioning to a new home in a new country is overwhelming. Often, the last thing on our minds is ourselves and this includes our health. We aim to help educate communities on what preventive healthcare is and why its important.
Action
Educating isn't enough. We want to assure our targeted communities are seeking the care that will foster their well being. We take action by providing the resources and the care team to help make this happen.
Change
Actively prioritizing our health should be the standard to significantly reduce risk of diseases, disabilities, and death. TPP wants to change old habits, anxieties, and hesitations surrounding pursuing preventive healthcare.
